He has started as the main lead actor with his very first movie called '' Project 51'' which was released in 2014. In 2016, he has appeared, as a corrupt police officer in the movie '' The Chain '' which is a short film produced by FilmLab 360 (Ex: 5 Bros Studios), for the ICAC short film competition (Mauritius). While the shooting crew of popular indian serial Beyhadh came to shooting in Mauritius, Kushal has the chance to participate in the shoot as a figurant back in 2016. In 2019, Kushal appeared as a villain in the movie ''Sans Twa Pena Mwa'' which is a Mauritian movie produced locally by Himster Productions. Kushal Awatarsing has on the 23rd of December 2019, won the best politician TikTok Awards for the TikTok Awards Night organised by Radioplus (Mauritius).
