Shon Wilson फिल्म की सूची

Shon Wilson attended a prestigious east coast boarding school, is a trained ballet dancer and elle parle un peu français. She hopes to be fluent one day. Since she arrived in Los Angeles, Shon has worked with Larry David and Jeff Schaffer on Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000), and is a frequent collaborator with director Mercedes Bryce Morgan and producer Katrina Kudlick. After casting Shon as a lead character in their film Holidazed (2015), they also tapped the actress for a supporting role in AMC/Shudder's Spoonful of Sugar (2022) and a special appearance in the official music video Marshmello feat. Bastille: Happier (2018), which received a 2019 MTV Video Music Awards (2019) nomination. Shon has also starred opposite Suzanne Cryer and Rumer Willis in Six Letter Word (2012), which screened at the Festival international de Cannes (1952). She co-stars as Erica Johnson on Apple TV's Swagger (2021) starring O'Shea Jackson Jr., and played First Lady Michelle Obama on Conan (2010). Shon's feature film debut was as the O.R. nurse who operates on fatally-wounded Henry "Dickie" Morrow in the theatrically released Blood Done Sign My Name (2010), starring Natalie Alyn Lind and Michael Rooker. Wilson's favorite work to do is broad comedy, most commonly playing refined or highly educated characters and the occasional snob. Her Hollywood role model is Samuel L. Jackson. Her comedy heroes are Jennifer Coolidge, Betty White, Jennifer Lopez, and Sandra Bullock. In drama, she's most inspired by Taraji P. Hinson, LaKeith Stanfield, and, again, Jennifer Lopez. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Shon grew up on the east coast. Unwilling to choose between her love of singing, acting and dancing, she obtained a bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre. However, during her four years at Washington, D.C.'s American University, she gravitated more towards roles in contemporary comedies and classical dramas. After graduating from college, Shon went right to work as a professional actress in North Carolina. There she earned contracts with the Actors Theatre of Charlotte, the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, Epic Arts Repertory Theatre, The Children's Theatre of Charlotte and other regional companies. Her 30+ professional stage roles have included Juliet, Ophelia and Lady Macbeth in Shakespeare's plays, as well as the female leads in Man from Nebraska by Tracy Letts and Sylvia by A.R. Gurney, Jr. In addition to receiving several awards and nominations for her stage performances, Shon has also developed a prolific body of work in film and video. She has starred in many independent films and acted in multiple industrials for Bank of America, as well as industrials for The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Groundlings School, Lowe's Home Improvement and other internationally known brands. Now living in Los Angeles, Shon's film and TV career is thriving. She also loves to belt pop tunes, take classes at the Los Angeles Ballet Academy whenever she gets a chance, and occasionally sub for intermediate and advanced ballet classes at Exceleration Studios in Burbank. Her goal is to contribute positive energy and fun to people's lives through her comedic performances. And make a lot of money doing it.
