Alex Gessner was born in Washington, DC to a family with loving parents and one older brother. After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2006 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering (magna cum laude), he traveled to India and eventually took a job in Mysore and Bangalore with Infosys Technologies Ltd. While on holiday in Hampi, he was recruited by the director on set for an impromptu scene for the Telugu movie, Chandamama. Since then, his acting career has been on hiatus, but he has plans to return in the near future.
