Taylor Kalupa was born and raised in San Dimas, CA. She began dancing at the age of 3 and became involved with competitive dancing at the age of 7. She danced and competed at Just Plain Dancin & Co which was named the Number 1 dance studio in North America. She was discovered by International Fashion and Editorial Photographer Kimberly Metz during a photo shoot for a specialized dance troupe called Team Rave L.A. which was designed to perform at non-competitive, non-profit venues in California. Shortly after she signed with a top children's agency for modeling and dance.
She was cast as a principal actress in Dave Navarro's music video Rexall which was produced by Emmy Award winning Honey. She was picked by renowned fashion photographer Robert Erdmann for a Japanese Vogue photo shoot with actor Tobey Maguire. Taylor was then cast in the BBC's Drew Barrymore Story as one of Drew Barrymore's friends. Next Taylor worked on Lifetime's Blush: The Search for America's Greatest Makeup Artist (2008), in which she portrayed Marilyn Monroe. In 2015, Taylor, along with actress Gabriela Lopez ( Teen Spirit (2011), The 5th Wave (2016) ), wrote, produced, and acted in the film Unrelated (2015) which was welcomed by much success in the film festival market. She is the lead role in the feature film Dance in Flight: The Film, portraying an angelic Muse who orchestrates a circus out of a group of misfits. Taylor stars as the lead female role in a movie from the producers of God's Not Dead (2014) called The Pastor, which also co-stars actors Kevin Sorbo, T.C. Stallings, and Hector Echavarria. Taylor portrayed the true story of Olympic bi-athlete Kari Swenson in Your Worst Nightmare: Into the Wild (2017).
Taylor is most known for her role in Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders: Episode 7 (2017) / Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders: Episode 8 (2017) on NBC, in which she portrays Lyle Menendez's fiance/wife Anna Eriksson, and her role as Jessica Meyer in the 2019 ABC drama, The Fix (2019), produced by famed O.J. Simpson case prosecutor Marcia Clark.
